This morning was CLP's birthday, we had a nice catch up this morning and need to get a lunch booked in soon! She was a tad upset that Pancake day had stolen her thunder on her birthday...sure she wont feel that way when scoffing them!

Next on todays hit list was the Broom to be Toni...things are very close now...12 days till I'm helping her to get ready and watching her marry her beloved...nerves are high, panic is becoming a daily emotion! We sorted some stuff out and then decided a bit of lunch and Grey's Anatomy should help us to calm down. Toni does have a lot to be worried about at the moment other than the wedding. Her wonderful Dad, Mr Ffinch is STILL in hospital. However he's no longer in Dundee. He's been moved from there to Larbert, to Clydebank and then back to Larbert...he has had LITERALLY no medical procedures other than rest, and his procedure will only be done if the second part of it is signed off either by a Northern Irish NHS trust or one in Middlesbrough....EH WTF So while the NHS procrastinates no one knows if he'll be able to walk his daughter down the aisle. I absolutely agree that his health is far more important but surely bed blocking and wasting all that time in the hospital literally JUST waiting is also ridiculous. They know what he needs done and they have the expertise to do it...Its become an exercise in admin and pen pushers signing things off...surely making the patient feel less anxious and letting him know if he'll be able to give his daughter away is FAR better!

Oh dear rant over...I told Toni my secret plans to use my beautiful technology geek squad skills to make him part of the day. Rahcel, pictured, is my plus one and would use the iPad to skype Toni's dad. On top of that I was gonna have him film the speech and I would project it to the room at the right time! Hopeful this is a plan D and not gonna happen as he has to give her away!

After class tonight Rachel and I swung by Toni and Ali's to have some pancakes, then it was onsie time when we got home! LONG DAY OVER
