Produce Market

After a week of eating out at restaurants while we traveled back to the United States, it was good to get back to fresh, local produce. Our first order of business this morning was to bus into town so we could restock the larder. Shelley bought enough onions, basil, tomatoes, zucchini, mangos, starfruit, and avocados (some of which are visible in this photo) to fill my backpack - all for under 70 pesos (less than $6). I, of course, purchased fresh bolillo, the one thing I can't do without in Zihuatanejo. We bused back and were still able to hit the beach by 10:30 for volleyball. It is good to be home!
