If the cost-cutting measures from Wolverhampton retailer Shailesh Parekh don't help his business through the recession he can always start a new job as an Alex Salmond body-double.

There's bound to be loads of spare cash kicking around for such a position if Scotland goes independent... But better hope that the thousands of teachers who can't currently find a job don't also apply for it otherwise Mr Parekh might face some competition.
