RESULT! 2 phonecalls = £400 off car insura

Well it's that time of year again when the renewal letter drops onto the door mat..

Bit of a shock this year with my premium going up almost £250 on last year with no apparent reason. Was almost going to go with the other quote the brokers offered that worked out a little cheaper than last year but thought it worth a quick google and phone round just to check..

And am I glad I did... a colleague suggested I try the company he uses for his Harley insurance and they came up with a quote over 40% cheaper with same level of cover and a slightly lower excess....Thank You Paul!!!!


I went back to my original broker and with out telling them the deal I had been offered they some how miraculously managed to come up with the same figure!@? Work that one out if you can.. with an even lower excess!!!!

So now I have the dilemma of going with the new companies slightly cheaper quote or staying with the company I know normally have great service etc but who it appears have just tried to take my eyes out...
