a walk in the park

Actually, most of my pictures today were from the New Orleans Rock and Roll Marathon and Half Marathon. But I didn't really like a single one of them! I had an idea of what I wanted each picture to look like and realized that I have a lot of learning to do when it comes to photographing moving objects! Hats off to my friend Gordon who takes amazing race shots. Not sure how he does it!
So back to one of my tried and true New Orleans subjects - the trees of Audubon Park. They are tremendous, majestic, old oaks. Complete with Spanish moss swinging teasingly in the breeze. Whenever I see this, I can only think "home".
