a day started well
today started well - enough sleep last night, nice light for blipping early on, plans to be in the garden as long as possible.......and then it fell apart into broken washing machines and dripping wet dirty jeans and workmen fixing lights and letters arriving that needed immediate action and and and bloody and. And now it's the endish of today and I'm cooking for tomorrow as tomorrow is 99.9% stuffed full with appointments.
When my children were smaller I used to get through the difficult bits by reminding myself that it's just a phase and they will not be e.g. weeing their bed every night forever. It will pass. And so I'm comforting myself with the thought that this is also just a phase because, in a few years time, when I am a rich lady of leisure, I won't need to be bothered with such things....right?
A friend sent me this just now on Facebook and I'm now ever so slightly in love with it.
