Sleepy
Not the best nights sleep from the boy. A screaming episode with no discernable reason at about 20.30, followed by general restlessness and lots of scratching of legs and tummy. He has been incontact with kids who now have slapped cheek, so I am waiting and wondering.
Having said all that we had a good day. The kids both had a fair amount of playtime before we headed to school. William and I returned to the house for an hour or so before heading to Tap tap knees. Max seems to have come back into favour and went everywhere we went today. He was also made to tap his knees with his hands during the welcome song, which was very cute.
At swimming we were back to 1-2-1class after last weeks 2-2-1 so Wendy was happy for me to sit on the side and watch. William did really well. Swam up and down for almost the whole lesson, using both arms and legs and blowing his bubbles. He also swam through the hoop, although I am not sure he realised. Wendy didn't put him on his back or put him under as he was having such a happy lesson. She really doesn't like to upset him and possibly she needs to a bit if we are going to make any progress, I don't know.
Nanna and Poppa were in the cafe when we came out so Will sat with them and had his sandwiches until they left for their appointments. I knew he was shattered, but thought I would get him home awake, that was until we hit the traffic jam. So he had an hours sleep, 20mins in the car and then just refused point blank to wake. He only did when I put him back in the car, and got him out in town, put him on the pavement and told him he had to walk. Mean Mummy (thank goodness I did though as it took almost two hours before he went to sleep tonight, not that he was any bother).
Homework was done super quickly tonight, hopefully we have learnt from last nights silliness and lack of playtime. That sounds like I didn't let her play, but actually it was C taking forever to eat her tea and running out of playtime after taking quite a while to do her homework.
