In The Occupied Territory

Tunnel of Love

This tunnel leads to The Tunnels.
Confused?
Well the Tunnels is actually a night club,
notice it is A night club, so grammatically it should not have an "s" at the end of the name.
It is situated in Carnegie's Brae, which isn't that much of a slope, so technically it is not a brae. It runs under Union Street, or part of Union Street, the part that is built as a viaduct, as I mentioned many months ago in a previous blip.
So the hill that I took this picture from, called Netherkirkgate, the hill that is not the picture, is a natural slope, leading to the natural level of this part of the old city centre, now called The Merchant Quarter, which itself is s dubious sort of name, as the area used to hold monasteries and palaces and not an abundance of "merchants."
Even now it is not the most highly populated area of merchants, containing some bars and restaurants and hotels and none to few of anything that could be possibly be entitled to be called by that name.
