inspired by spring buds

I get so excited by watching buds swell on bare winter trees. This one is in our garden. It needed some attention when we arrived here in the Autumn. In fact, I was doubtful if it was still alive. I think it might be a crab apple.

See the flower buds swelling? How long have I to wait before I see the blossom?
