Another cheating blip from work.

We (Roberto & Cara from Essential), received a Fairtrade business award from George Alagaih and the lord Mayor Councillor Geoff Gollop last Friday. A bit of a polish to remove fingerprints - and balanced on a hastily set up glass platform created in order to underlight the rather beautiful piece of glassware - et voilà!

Well - OK - there was a little faffing - best 'fess up. I did take some bracketed shots & judiciously combined them, in order to highlight the engraved text, while maintaining the glorious bubbling blues of the glass. This is more to do with my homebrew led lighting kit on my desk than anything else - do I have to justify my cheating any more? No? Phew - good.

Anyhow - it's always nice to get a little recognition - as a company we rarely solicit such - so this was all the better for the large chunk of surprise that accompanied it. Strangely enough - four of the other six finalists were also customers of ours!

First of it's kind - and sponsored by Co-operatives UK, it certainly cheered an otherwise ordinary Monday morning in the warehouse.
