Just a number

Lifeboat muster area, we have 4 lifeboats that each hold 70 people. Two boats on the Aft and two boats forward. The rigs maximum POB (Personnel On Board) is 140 so we are well covered in either direction.

The numbers were painted onto the deck for people to stand on during a muster for an emergency or drill. If each person stands on a seperate number then the muster takers only have to look at the last number not occupied to see how many people are present and if the number tallies with what should be present as each lifeboat has a set number of assigned personnel. Quick and easy.
