The Beaufort Arms

Ewan suggested a drink after work since he is now working Thursday and Friday from home so traveling back up tomorrow night. Went to the Beaufort for a couple, only a short walk to Bristol Parkway where I get the train to Temple Meads in the city centre.

Ewan was telling me of his growing up on a self-sufficient Ayrshire croft and all the animals they used to keep and the fruit and veg they used to grow. Sounded like a great childhood.

It's Mum's birthday today. Charles took the day off and joined Mum and Dad for a drive and lunch in the Dales. Sounds like a great birthday activity.
