Eat your heart out Barbara 'Net'worth
I've been at the laptop all day and didn't get out to take a photo before dark, so I did my emergency household object thing whilst pretending to cook a curry.
The first thing I spotted was this lemon net so grabbed it, screwed it up and plonked it on the first white thing I could find. I'm rather pleased with my box-turned-inside-out 'photographer's professional white background' and will be keeping it to use again but Richard is currently cursing me for borrowing his dog pee torch to use as a 'photographer's professional lighting system' and not putting it back where I found it.
I'm a big Barbara Hepworth fan and when this shot reminded me of her I had to use it.
I've been busy today because despite giving up the final module of my honours degree, I actually didn't.
I gave up, sent emails and spent 2 weeks not being a student in my head, and enjoying the break. But I didn't send the final confirmation email. So when my tutor encouraged me to rethink and gave me a 2-week extension and a bit of encouragement, and I discovered I couldn't apply the interrupted study scheme to my course, I decided to continue.
That was 3 weeks ago. I scrambled together an assignment I thought I didn't have a hope in hell of passing but I found out yesterday that I did.
I'm still horrendously behind and have spent the last few days reading a month and a half's worth of course material. I'm still unsure that I've got as much as I could from the course and my reasons for wanting to stop still stand, strangely. But I couldn't see me starting again from the very beginning so I'm going on.
