The Official Paperwork

The ordeal to get ready for our annual tax appointment is overwhelming for me -- I was busy doing that several weeks ago, and it all boils down to this folder which contains the final document.

The amusing statement in this photo is "Paperwork Reduction Act Notice." Who are they kidding. I felt like I shuffled paperwork for weeks before our appointment with our tax man. And this folder isn't exactly slim.

Well, anyway, here is the final and official document that contain the announcement of a puny little tax refund from the state and another from the Federal government. Each day it is becoming more apparent how our money is buying less and less.

Honestly, I'm not sure how younger people manage; those with children under their roof must be finding every coupon and every "sale" in order to make their money stretch to cover all the necessary obligations.
