Other men are available

I saw a sign today that said the box office for Blackpool north pier is at the fount of the pier. That would have been the blip and I would have enjoyed finding out about and relating what a fount is.

Then I saw this sign and it made me smile as I wondered how the men were classified. And why did this job require only "advanced men". Were the "advanced women" and "less advanced" men and women working elsewhere?

So many questions, so little time ;)
