Happy Mothers Day...

.... Mum.

The first noise that woke me today was J saying "Happy Mothers Day Mummy, I've put your card in the kitchen so that you will see it when you make my breakfast"! I had to laugh, if only he knew Mummy wasn't planning on going anywhere near the kitchen today. Eventually J and C brought the cards and pictures up to my bedroom that they'd made for me at school - so cute. Then, R stepped up and organised breakfast of pancakes with berries, maple syrup and yoghurt at my request - they were completely yummy - and using Doves Farm gluten free flour, we really couldn't taste any difference to pancakes previously devoured when eating wheat. After a hearty breakfast we went to the park for a run around before coming back for a quick tidy of the house before Mum and Dad arrived for a Mothers Day lunch of roast lamb and all the trimmings cooked again by my lovely husband.

It's early evening now and the kids are tired and ready for food, bath and early bed - Rich looks pooped the kids want tea and I think its probably my turn to sort it all out.

In case you didn't realise, this is a picture of my Mum. So nice to be able to spend Mothers Day together - the first since I became a Mum. :-)
