Only a good friend ........

.... would give a complete novice a loan of his lens to try. I have a very good friend and that's exactly what he did.

So today I had 15 minutes to experiment. It was getting dark, the wind was blowing, and I didn't have a clue what I was doing.

A twiddle with a few knobs and 40 shots....all out of focus.

Still, had to pick something.

I could get used to this macro lark.
