Happy Spring!!

It's officially official: Spring is here!!

This is my PJM Rhododendron, the earlier blooming variety with its smaller lavender-pink blossoms. It is positioned almost directly outside my front door, so I keep smiling when I walk by & see its beauty!

Being the first day of spring, we went to Rita's for a cold celebratory treat. They offer free Italian Ices to everyone on this day each year. We've been known to hit a couple (O.K. I admit to once going to three with breaks in between)...but this year, we just got one. I had Georgia Peach; Hannah had Blue Raspberry & earned blue lips & tongue for the evening! Happy spring!!
