A National day of mourning in Belgium

At 11am today Belgium came to a standstill for a minute's silence to remember the children and adults who were killed in a tragic bus crash in Switzerland. Flags were flown at half mast and after the minute's silence, church bells rang out.

Tonight I held my children just that little bit tighter.

I barely took any photos but this one made me smile as even though it has been close to 20 degrees for the last couple of days, my daughter has insisted on wearing her Christmas hair accessories.
