Free Reign
Bit of a rubbish blip today. Im disappointed with myself as its the first time in a while that I've planned to get a shot in advance and then not be able to get anything I like. The combination of lights and moving targets was too much for me. In my defence I was carrying a toddler at the time, but still so much to learn.
I loved seeing E on the horse today. It was her first time fully off the reigns and I was very proud watching her keeping the horse under control. Its early days and she's only had a few lessons. She's no expert, but having not been to watch for a few weeks I could really see some progress. Nanny Sue snuck out of work early to come and see her too and it put a massive smile on E's face. She upped her game from that point on.
M had her hearing test as the hospital this morning. Passed in one ear, and just about failed in the other but Im positive thats down to this ear infection. I wouldnt expect her to be able to hear through all that yuck to be honest. They've checked her ear and sent the info on to the ENT consultant so we will see what he recommends.
M's had so many odd hours off from school in recent weeks for appointments and things that she's just about had enough now. She was crying when I dropped her back this morning because she doesn't like coming into class and everyone looking at her. She then has to try and work out whats going on before she can join in. At lunch time she goes to the office to wait for her medicine which is leaving her 15 mins to eat her lunch. All liitle things, but they seem like big things when you're 5 years old dont they :(
We dashed back to the indoor play centre for a quick runaround with L, which wore her out enough for her to fall asleep in her lunch when we got back. Money well spent there!
This evening we've booked our hotel room for our wedding night. So strange to give them the name of Mr & Mrs L. Eeek!
