Contrasts

R and A met their friend D today and registered for the conference. It's a gigantic building and a wonderful facility capable of hosting multiple large events. We all went out for a meal but after finding that it was Friday night and all the Pubs / bars were full and very noisy we settled for the grill at the original hotel which was great.
Passed this on the way and we were all taken by the contrasts of old and new.
Thanks to all for the comments and sorry that I can't reply at present. Need some serious Blip time but it will be after the weekend I suspect. Stay tuned and I will report tomorrow.
