Fallen Tree

Glorious day. Farm shop first thing(ish), I took lots of photos but none were any good. We then spent the late morning and afternoon clearing out the greenhouse, tidying up the garden and sowing seeds. After cleaning up we went to Shawford for a walk, into a field to see the long horn cattle and then up by the war memorial and then along through the woods. There were a few fallen trees and this is from one of them. This was chosen because I like the textures, the colours and rings in the wood.
Knackered now so time for a glass of wine or two. Tomorrow we are picking up a bowl Jane ordered from a pottery in Aston and meeting Jane's sister for lunch. A blip meet!
