Fresh lettuce everyday!

Well apparently according to the instructions if lightly watered and kept on your window ledge this will reward you/me for up to 12 days! I wonder.
It does taste rather nice I must admit.

Another nice sunny day but cooling down now at 4pm although still sunny but with a slight breeze.
Some of the children from the nearby school brought us a bunch of ....wait for it..three daffs and wished 'us' a happy Easter.
They started this last year and at Christmas gave out boxes of fruit to any OAP they passed....I missed because I was in my car.
Still its a rather nice gesture I think.
