painting and pigeons!

early to bed, early to rise. was up early doors, and at No.49 by 7.45am, with a full day of painting to be done. measured up for coving too, which i will attempt to fit Sunday. had spent £100 in B&Q before 9am! mum came to give me a hand (i think it's the chip shop lunch she's more interested in - is becoming a little regular saturday thing which i love!). all upstairs rooms done and ready for coving, and then acual colour paint! it's been like painting the golden gate bridge! i didn't have much chance of a blip today, but as i was finishing off one of the bedrooms, i kept hearing the whoosh of birds above. someone nearby has pigeons (or sky rats as we call them!). like this picture, especially the sky behind. the sky rats did lap after lap, swooping and soaring. reminded me of living back at home, and someone kept pigeons on our street. Fletch lived next door to them, and he got so fed up with pigeon shizzle on his mum & dads conservatory roof, he took out an injunction on his neighbours, and the pigeons!! the injunction stipulated that the sky rats couldn't fly over the conservatory! legend! back home at 5pm, shower, pjs, wine, settee, cheese n'biscuits and some tele n' chill time
