An Eggcellent Easter

unsure what the time was when i got up....6.45am or 7.45am....head a little fuzzy after last night didn't make things much clearer!

Easter Sunday and today i can have bread after giving it up for Lent. I could've plumped for a sausage sarnie, on Stacys Farmhouse thick sliced white, but instead i went for Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstalls Welsh Rarebit recipe, after a suggestion from Mrs Betteridge, fellow cheese lover.

it was delish. 2 slices nearly beat me, but hey, I'm about to enter online for the Robin Hood Marathon so i'll run it off in the next 5 months.....

it was a glorious morning. perfect. Blue sky, sunshine and birds tweeting. had a much much needed spring clean in the kitchen. i can now see the worktops and the kitchen table!

Dinner round at mums, li and matt there too. roast lamb, and all the trimmings! even managed a smidge of dessert too, absolutely delish.

back home and a walk with Pete for an hour and then home for a play with the camera. think many people will be enjoying chocolate today, so this is for each of you!

early night today. Pete is flat out at the moment, having taken my place on the sofa whilst i was uploading my photos!
