Budding Clematis Montana Rubens

It's that time of the year with the daffodils coming to to the end of their showy glory that nature seems to be taking a big deep breath and waiting for the next big push which will see us right through to the abundance of summer blooms. Here, the small pink clematis by the side of the house, waits on the starting line, listening for the crack of the starter's pistol which will signal the headlong rush into an abundant riot of splendid colour.
