Early Promise....Late denial

The day started really well, not much traffic and a wonderful sunrise, I pulled the car over and drank in all the bird song and atmosphere. The feeling of peace was not broken by the rest of the mortals whizzing by.

The sky turned many colours as the sun went into the clouds, the changing hues taking only seconds to whisper, shout then die. A mist rolled between the river and raised cuts floating along without a care for the violence of the sky.

Once in town coffee and a chat with the usual suspects.

Then off to work. Busy.......hectic.......annoying......fire alarms and all sorts of distractions. I won't waist my time on the bad stuff only to say that the lovely start did not deliver throughout the day.

It was a beautiful start to the day.........that has to do sometimes!
