Ships Graveyard Revisited
As you can see we had snow on high ground last night. This view from Arklow Harbour looking back toward Croghan Mountain shows last nights sprinkling. As we live half way up as far as elevation goes we had some too and I had to scrape the white stuff off the car before setting off to work.
This view is also in the opposite direction to that of yesterday's blip and shows the progress being made on the old trawler. The superstructure has now vanished and something or other was being burned off in the hull. It smelled of oil and rubber. At the rate the guys are going they may well be down to the keel by tomorrow evening.
