The Spring weather returned today. We joined the tourists, and a smattering of locals on the bus to Keswick. The town was humming. No-one seemed to be in too much of a hurry. You could almost see the stress falling away from people's faces as they left their everyday worries behind. On the foreshore of the lake, families were gathered on the grass, chatting and eating their lunch. One family was flying a kite and two small terriers were racing each other across the hill.

Adrian and I both had our cameras at the ready. It's not always easy to capture the majesty of the hills, but of course, we couldn't help trying.
