Little jobs

Mud is now dry so did a bit of sanding, but put on the second layer where needed, so that'll be drying for another couple of days before I can do the final sanding.

I've figured that the areas that will look crap will be covered by tiles though, so that's a nice 'get out of jail' card.

Whilst looking at mud dry, I contemplated the small jobs that I need to get onto. I kinda work in a specific order and right now, we're stuck on mudding. But it did occur to me that I wasn't exactly being productive. So I got on with staining the kitchen cabinets.

Later in the afternoon I decided that watching mud dry, again, wasn't exactly productive - so I got on with sanding the front and back door. Tomorrow I'll get both primed ready for a new final top layer.

Can't wait to get Rancho Gordo finished though so I can get onto the next house! With any luck, tomorrow I'll be able to finish mudding (eg rubbing it down), which means paint - lots and lots of painting for the coming week! And then the kitchen rebuild, and then the backsplash install, plus a few tiles on the wall, and other stuff.
