There and back again

Chagford Common

Low cloud cover saw me drive off up to the moor this afternoon, not quite sure where I would end up, and a roundabout route brought me to Chagford Common where I gave Jinxy a walk. I think the poor boy had his legs crossed.

He found a stream and chased two ducks away but our outward journey provided no photo opportunities. Its was when we turned to go back to the car that you could see shafts of light illumination the fields of the border country around the moor and as often the case, it is these fleeting shafts of light against a dark sky that brings the moor to life.
