Charlotte and her Great Grandad.

Dad slept well again last night...but caused havoc when he got up by spending 45 minutes in the bathroom.....I can't imagine what takes him so long.

Charlie and her parents came over for the football and lunch.

United won...the noisy neighbours lost...hahahahahahaha!

We forwent a starter and had Lamb with carrots, roast potatoes, Charlotte potatoes, roasted parsnip, peas, sweetcorn, cabbage, cauliflower, brocolli and Yorshire pudding. Obviously I didn't eat the poisonous green stuff...or the cauli...if I was meant to eat green stuff I'd have a twitchy nose and a fluffy tail.

Dessert was apple pie or lemon tart with cream....or both for us lucky ones.

Charlie tried a bit of everything....then she went for a nap while we ate chocolate and drank alcohol. She left about 7 and took her parents with her. We watched some mindless tv....played dominoes ....had supper and now everyone but me is in bed.

All in all not a bad day.
