Mother's electric chair

It had to happen one day that I'd reach my limits and plug her in. :)

My hip, shoulder and knee on one side had been aching with lifting her so often. And this was the solution.

It's brilliant but I am on pins in case she does something with the control.

Last night we had the best night for ages. She was praising me constantly and it was like a drug to me or water to someone who'd been crossing a desert for what seems like years without much appreciation.

I even recorded some of it to play when things aren't going so well. At one point she actually said I was the one who kept her going and she couldn't wish to be with anyone nicer.

It was just so good to hear after days and days of going through one problem after another. I was half afraid that it all meant something drastic might happen overnight so I was relieved to hear her voice before I got up this morning.
