Sky Day, All Day

Today the rain never appeared, but the clouds flirted with us for hours. They would gather together, block the sun completely, darken, and almost spit at us but then they did not. Moments later I'd look outside again and it was as if someone had dropped the shade, turned on the blender, mixed them all, and they were huge brilliant white puffs of cotton dotting the sky.

Middle of the day we returned the rental car to Ontario Airport; then I did several loads of laundry; the pooches played grab fanny all afternoon; yes, we are home, spring break is concluding, and we are back to being as un-normal as possible.

And if the clouds decide to drop some more moisture on us during this night, I'll be overjoyed. We need the rain.
