Easter Eggstravaganza!!

What glorious weather we had today!! Never in my almost two years spent in Edinburgh have I ever worn just a t-shirt, until today. I was one step away from being on holiday!

Just as well we had beautiful weather, today was the Exmoor Pony Easter Eggstravaganza, a sort if funday fundraiser for the section. It was sort of a little fair. For a couple of pounds, kids could do pony rides, games such as an egg hunt, races, and all sorts. There were also some ponies which formed a kind of petting zoo for littler kids. Rather sweet really..

Not as many People turned up as we would have hoped, but those who did turn up, really enjoyed it, and will hopefully spread the word about the section!

We had such a fun day, in the sunshine, chatting to kids.. It was lovely! We even got a wee ride in at the end of the day when we finished, to enjoy the last of the warm spring sun.. We were so eager to make the sunshine last, that we on our return to the city, we had well deserved pizza sat in The Meadows til it had gotten dark, laughing and having a cheeky cider..
