Happy St George's weekend

A slow news day, but no worries. The weekend promises to be a blipfest.
I did think of delaying my blip until later as we are at "Question Time" with a number of local political figures, including the MP. I tried to blip a photo ftp my pc of the torch relay test event but they were rubbish so I'll settle for recording here that it was today. Looks very exciting.

My son has submitted a question about lowering the voting age.
He's now a member of the youth council and is a Member of The Youth Parliament.
Tomorrow I'm off to London for volunteer training at the Olympic Village and I'll be in the Blackfriar pub at Blackfriars around 7pm for a beer. Thanks Minnchip for the tip.
I got the tie last year and have been waiting for St George's Day ever since to wear it :)
