Supermonkey

The older of my little ones has been drawing stories for a while now and it's exciting to see him progress from dictating the words to being able to write them for himself, complete with wonderful phonic based spellings.

Whilst watching the tele the other morning he noticed an advert for the 'share a story' competition where youngsters can send in their story ideas and storyboard pictures and winners get to have their stories made into cartoons. Sounds an exciting venture, if it wasn't for the fact that all entries have to be in by THIS FRIDAY!!

The older one saw this as an easy challenge however and set to work straight after school to condense his numerous chapters worth of 'The adventures of super-monkey' into the six frame storyboard in the application form, even forgoing his beloved Screen time to do so.

Obviously I am biased but I think it's pretty incredible. All I need to do now is remember to post it first class tomorrow!
