So very proud....

Eve is the swimmer.... but she was just one of many this evening when our school Thomas Jolyffe took part in the sport relief swim a mile for charity swimathon......Thank you to our very own Miss Rachel Wright,who is not only our year 3a (Lucy's class) teacher but also our resident sporty spice too,she is always giving up her weekends for the children and the sporting events our school takes part in... it was well organised and four of the parents did some lane counting including Mr W and also Sammy's husband Waynes'world.MR WAYNES WORLD HAS OFFERED ME SOME HELP AT THE SCHOOL FETÉ .. LOVE YOU WAYNEY POO xxx
ANYWAY,the children were asked to do 4 lengths if they could..... well,guess what...... the minimum any of the children did was EIGHT,and we are talking some tiny year 3's who just kept going in the allocated time,they all went for it,I got a lump in my throat,all the spectators in the gallery were cheering,it was fabulous and I got to be poolside and be school photographer...
The very best bit though was they were given MEDALS and they were not expecting them and the cheer and the excitement was amazing :D

p.s Buffy my little lady pooch has been unwell and we had a trip to the vets this morning after she kindly vomited UNDER our bed... how hard it is to reach dog sick under a large bed.Anyway she does have a nasty gastric bug so I WILL forgive her xxx
