My Day, My Life

Bike

I've got a bike.
You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings,
and things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

I drove My Girl and Mrs blip into town today, they had a booking at Doodles (design and decorate ceramics) for 1 o'clock and so I dropped them at the door at 12:58. Perfect timing, even though I say so myself.

So whilst they were doodling, I went daundering aroond the toon!

I was on a quest, a quest to find....the last minidiscs in Edinburgh!

I'll leave the Holy Grail for now

Anyway, after searching near and far, high and low and here and there I located and acquired the last 2 discs in the city.

I returned to collect the girls with minutes to spare.

Now while all of this excitement had been going on, slowly but surely cyclists had begun congregating at The Meadows.

And by now, there were between 1 to 2000 there. They made for a very impressive sight!

It would've been nice to join them but unfortunately we had a prior engagement and our bikes are all in storage.

This evening, My Girl was taking part in a concert with Clarsach (Harp) player Savourna Stevenson. I like the harp, my first recollection of hearing one was from watching Marx Brothers films.

It was a thoroughly entertaining evening and it was good to catch up with old friends too!

Let's see what Sunday brings.
