Gorgeous

We had gone to the garage to fill up and put air in the tyres for tomorrows journey down to Devon.
Pulled onto the forecourt and saw this lovely Audi Quattro at the air pump. After I had been robbed at the petrol pump we drove round and parked behind the Audi to wait to use the air line. The driver was waiting for his son to come along with a wheel brace as he had a flat tyre and couldn`t get the wheel off. He slowly rolled forward and while Chris was pumping our tyres up I was chatting to the guy about the car.
It`s 30 years old, he bought it in 1994. Surprisingly, it isn`t built for speed but he said cornering is brilliant. He did Nurburgring last year and after 19 laps he needed 4 new tyres at a cost of £145 each. Not surprisingly he doesn`t use it every day.
Right off to pack and get ready for tomorrow. Am taking the laptop but not sure about internet so might have to wait till next Sunday to back blip. We shall see
