Diver Driver

Is it coming yet?

Despite the fact that the line had been cleared of leaves, the train was still late!

We walked up to the Dolgoch Falls this morning, which are situated in the beautiful Tal -y-Lyn Valley in the south of Snowdonia national Park, and, having heard a number of steam train whistles on the walk, we called in at one of the stations on the way down.

When the train finally arrived - 2 minutes late! - I stood at the rear of the train and got a number of pics along the length of the train while passengers were getting on and off.

I then got a stern telling off for being on the train line, which in actual fact I was not at the time, but was not going to argue with the old dear doing the telling.

What she would have said if she had seen me taking this one, I don't know. Possibly have me deported to some far afield foreign land like England no doubt.

Then, onto the coast and a brisk walk along the sand getting the dogs wet, smelly and tired once again.

And my crisp delight today - crisps two days on the trot, whatever next! - 'was inspired by the Brazilian Cassava plant which gave it a delicate texture that sits lightly on the tongue, bursting with delicious cheddar cheese and spring onion flavour.'

Whatever happened to ready salted? Must watch out for more advertising rubbish.

Another quiet evening ahead, although we were out for most of last evening.

That's another story which I will leave for another day.

Off to clean the car now before it starts to smell too much of wet, smelly dogs.
