The old village

This is for Chaiselongue. Balconies, shutters and strong colours - the old village is full of these. It is a rabbit warren of steep, narrow streets, very few of which are accessible by car. It took me a long time to internalise the layout as I never seemed to take the same route from the top to the bottom of the village, turning down blind alleys or taking a longer route than necessary. I had to learn that my neighbours were not only on each side of me, but also above and below, that I could not take the laptop on the terrace if my neighbour above was watering the flowers!
