WuHooooooooooooo!

Had a great day today! Still full from last nights dinner, we decided to wait for breakfast til later and went down to the sea. At that time the tide was out, exposing a large expanse of rock. We were so engrossed in looking for fossils ( well, Sav was, I was busy taking photos! ) we didn't even think of breakfast til lunch time! Back to The Hatless Heron ...

In the afternoon we took a short boat trip from the harbour, out into the sea before taking the bus tour around the town.

In the morning I'd spied beach huts some distance away and wanted to get some photos of them, so we made our way over to them. We had our afternoon cuppa sitting beside the sea as it thrashed waves up against the wall in front of the huts! It was very invigourating, taking in all that sea air and salt!

After dinner we went back up to the Abbey to see if you can get a decent shot of it at night, but the walls around it are just the right height to prevent that!
