Opposition Buzz

Had a lovely day at the Badminton Horse Trials today, with Lou, Emma ( both Mary's aunties ) and Em's partner Adam.

Today was the last day, when the show jumping is the final deciding competition.

We started the day by walking the whole of the Cross Country course that was yesterday's competition. Really wish we could have seen that - next year we will we've decided.

That took a couple of hours and we were ready for lunch and a Pimms after that.

We watched the afternoons jumping on one of the big screens dotted about the complex and then spent another couple of hours wandering around all the stalls.

Getting out and homeward bound wasn't a big issue either ( I took magazines incase we were stuck in a traffic jam, but no need for them ) and I was having a cup of tea at home 45 mins after setting off ( we live about 35 mins away - adding this info for jankerman ).

Pictured here Nicola Wilson on Opposition Buzz who were part of the Team GB equestrians that won us a silver medal. Unfortunately they were placed 30th today.
