Royal Scots Fusilier - Ayr

This fine fellow is is outside the South Ayrshire Council building. He is a memorial to all those who died in that regiment during the years 1939-1945. He is an imposing figure from all angles and when I spotted him while taking a slightly different walk home from the town via the beach, I decided he would be nice for today's Blip.

Beautiful blue sky today as you can see. As for the Council House in the background, I have worked for Solihull Council 25 years come September the 14th (will I live that long?) and I was strangely drawn to this building.

I am clearly institutionalised. Yes, I know. No need to say it.....
