Life through the lens...

Last reflections

We were very sorry to leave Norfolk, as inspite of the weather not being 100%
we have had a wonderful time.
It is so peace full.
One of the things I have loved are all beautiful reflections I have seen. So as a final farwell this is one of my favourite today.

We had a great meal last night. Both decided on the Rump steak. From the Aberdeen Angus herd on the farm about a mile from the pub. (In fact the Farm Estate owns the pub!)
One of the best tasting steaks I have ever had!
They are trying to farm the old fashioned way, by letting the fields go back to meadows with wild flowers. The hedgerows are grown for wild life and birds. Last year they had 100 different kinds of birds. Also English crayfish and otters in the river.

After the meal we went into the bar where a jazz trio were playing. They are only there once a month and so we were lucky it was our night!
A group of men were playing dominos in one corner, and also enjoying the music.
Oh and they make their own pork scratchings which were crisp and yummy!
Great atmosphere, a great village pub!

Now arrived home after a good journey. Called for some crab from a young lady who sells it from her kitchen window! So off to make tea.

Then on with the washer!!
