....Happy Birthday to ya.....

I could have blipped something sinister for my 666 but decided on something nice instead.

We celebrated Charlotte's 1st birthday today....a few days early but the only time her nan Linda and Tony and her auntie Rhian could get up to see her.

Linda and Tony arrived just after 3.00 p.m., the S & H,YH, Charlie and Rhian just before 4.00......others dropped in and out during the afternoon, including Kev and Jen friends of the S & H and YH.

It was their "do" but guess who ended up doing the cooking? The BBQ went well, the burgers were delish and the weather was kind.

Considering it was only a small affair Charlotte got an amazing amount of presents including a rocking horse, a scuttlebug, an elephant that fires balls out of its trunk, paints, books and clothes.

By 8.30 everyone else was gone and it was just parents,grandparents and the two aunties left....the chiminea was lit and we sat outside until just before midnight when Charlotte was carted off home.

We seem to have got through an awful lot of alcohol.........and we seem to have a fair bit left.

Time for bed now...up at 6 for a fishing match......same old, same old.

I might have something that I consider sinister and others will find controversial to blip tomorrow.........unless the fates do the right thing.
