Along the Beech Wood
Talk about a day of two half's, this morning was wet and cold and Mrs M did the early morning walk. Not really a day for early morning shots so we wondered into town and sat in HFW River Cottage Canteen, reading the papers over a hot chocolate.
After lunch it had stopped raining but with thick cloud cover so I pocketed the trusty Lumix LX3 and we took the boy Jinxy, out to a local beech wood. The clouds act like a giant light box with very little shadow and the fresh beech leafs were an acid green color which I love at this time of the year. As someone once said "In photography, there is no bad weather"
