Marley's last day

Marley finished his last day at school today at 1230.

They had a final assembly on the grass where they have a ceremony to farewell the leavers who are moving on to intermediate. I think its a great thing to do.

Marley and his class went back to his class and gave his teacher a hug and said goodbye as well as saying goodbye to his friends.

Earlier in the day they all met their new teacher for next year alongside their new classmates, Marley was apparently quite relaxed so that's relieving for me.

Keeping with my tradition of something nice on the last day of term as a 'well done ' for getting through i took him into town to have lunch with Andre.

We went to a cafe on Victoria st where we sat outside which worked out well as there's so much construction happening on that street that a concrete mixer pulled up outside the cafe. Marley was pretty happy about that.

We didn't stay for long as Andre was getting work calls even though he'd marked himself out of office for lunch so i said he'd better get back and sort this stuff out.

We went back home and waited for Kanye to get home. 

Really pleased Mar has finished for the year!
