Shortest Day..

..well really it's 24 hours like all the others, it's just the daylight that's shorter. It will actually get a little shorter in the next couple of days, which I've never fully understood. Think the sunrise gets earlier, but not as much as the sunset which gets even earlier for a couple of days.
It's also the longest day in the southern hemisphere!
